Responsibilities
At St. Joseph Medical Center (SJMC) we have a great team environment and we are hiring a full time, evening shift Central Sterile Tech (CSPD) or Sterile Processor! The Central Sterile Tech (CSPD) or Sterile Processor duties include, but are not limited to:
responsible for decontamination, preparation, sterilization of central sterile trays, instruments and equipmentinventory and restocking of suppliescomputer data entry and patient charge card batchingdemonstrates knowledge of all department locations within facility and ability to access all departmentsdemonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skillsdemonstrates detailed awareness and knowledge of patient supplies and equipmentthe evening shift hours are 10:30a - 7:00p QualificationsEducation and Work Experience
high school diploma or equivalent, OR related experience, requiredSterile Processing Educational Program completeCentral Supply Certification, preferredexperience as a Central Sterile Technician in an acute care hospital setting, preferredcurrent BLS (AHA), required
