Your Role:

At MilliporeSigma, as the Central Stores Lab Technician you will support the material/lab inventory and ordering process.  This includes receiving orders from various labs and retrieving materials and ensuring proper delivery and documentation.

 

Documents tasks in compliance with SOPs and regulations (cGMP and GLP)Receives and manages company NON-GMP materials Performs scheduled and ad hoc deliveries of lab supplies using ERP system such as ORACLEMaintains adequate inventory levels through cycle counting, record keeping and end of month reportsComplies with all GxP, safety, and company requirementsMaintains and monitors walk-in refrigerator and other temperature controlled equipment Cross-trains as needed and assignedPerforms other duties as assigned

 

Physical Attributes:

Ability to lift or exert force up to 50 lbs.Ability to work in a wide range of temperatures, including cold storage.

 

Who You Are:

 

Minimum Qualifications:

High School diploma or GED with 1+ years of work experience Associate’s Degree in any discipline

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in material management within a life science company.Experience working in a laboratory and/or GxP environment.Knowledge of basic computer systems and inventory management databases.Ability to operate a hand truck, pallet jack, and other basic warehouse equipment.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Ability to work overtime and flexible shifts.
