Central Supply Coordinator
Full Time, 40 hours/week, Monday through Friday
Base Pay: $17.25 - $21.50
Duties:Maintains accurate, on-going inventory of all medical suppliesCompletes supply order and obtains purchase order according to ordering schedule Order, track and ensure timely return of specialty and/or rental equipmentOrders additional items as needed through purchasing software and in conjunction with corporate Materials Management representativeTracks and orders individual residents enteral supplies monitoring for changes in physicians ordersCoordinate equipment management process and communicate with vendors as neededReceives orders, checks invoices for accuracy, notifies purchasing and Accounts Payable representative of discrepanciesMonitors back ordered supplies to prevent shortages Unpacks deliveries and stocks shelves rotating stock according to expiration datesMonitors expiration dates of all supplies to prevent using expired stockMonitors and stocks nursing units daily and maintains adequate supplies at all timesMonitors par levels on nursing units making adjustments as necessaryEnsure ordering is within budget and maintain communication with facility Administrator regarding budgetCoordinates with oxygen supplier at least weekly to maintain adequate oxygen suppliesMonitors individual residents oxygen usage daily – reporting inventory and patient-specific use to Administrator at least once per monthComprehends and adheres to Department of Public Health and Life Safety regulations applicable to their departmentPre-requisites:High School Diploma or GED equivalentIntermediate computer skillsMust be organized and detail-orientedC.N.A. or experience in nursing facility preferredKnowledge of general medical supplies, over the counter medications, and medical terminology preferred
