As a member of the Centralized Material Estimating team, this position will be responsible for estimating material in proposals across ADP, F-22, and F-35 Development and Sustainment, prioritizing material estimating group workload, assisting team members in data analysis and error correction, reviewing material estimates to ensure compliance with established procedures required for proposal adequacy, ensuring proper training and development of material estimating personnel, and interfacing with customers during negotiations and/or audits.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor degree or above from an accredited college
• Experience with developing and implementing proposal strategies.
• Experience with proposals in accordance with FAR, DFARS within a DOD environment.
• Experience with data analytics & data analysis functions
Desired Skills:
• Experience with LM Aeronautics proposal tool APTs
• Material or Estimating experience
• Considered a subject matter expert in estimating.
• Demonstrated leadership skills including excellent communication, organizational skills, and the ability to train, lead and direct team members.
• Experience with reviewing of estimates and proposals for compliance with RFP, Government regulations per FAR, and internal processes.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $106,100 - $187,105. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
