As a Centralized Scheduling Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our clients, providing exceptional service and support as you assist them with their scheduling needs. Adhere to HIPAA guidelines to ensure customer privacy and confidentiality at all times.Answer incoming calls and provide assistance or direct them to the appropriate staff member.Assess customer needs, including crisis situations, and handle calls accordingly.Schedule first-time appointments for Outpatient and Psychiatric Services.Manage the appointment system, ensuring efficient and accurate scheduling.Perform clerical tasks such as sending appointment letters/reminders, filing, generating reports, maintaining activity logs, and entering information into tracking systems.Verify client insurance eligibility and referral sources using various websites and software systems.Take on additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Receives minimal instruction on day-to-day work and receives general instruction on new assignments.Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills required.Must have strong customer service orientation skills.Able to multi-task while being a team player.Excellent typing skills and ability to work with a computer.Flexibility and open to floating to different multiple locations.Reliable transportation to get to area assigned.Experience and/or Education Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required.Previous customer service experience is preferred.
