Cerner PharmNet Clinical Information System Analyst II, Day Shift, Clinical Informatics

As a Clinical Information System Analyst II you will:
•Builds, tests, verifies intermediate level clinical systems and/or evaluates and validates intermediate level Cerner solutions and processes as directed to support best practice.
•Identifies, evaluates, supports and solves complex problems as necessary to support the needs of users. Maintains system and applications functionality and addresses issues promptly.
•Manages and maintains projects with a degree of independence. Conducts user need analyses to establish requirements. May serve as lead on small to medium sized projects.
•Monitors, assesses and documents system infrastructure. Responds to small-scale technical issues with minimum supervision.
•Maintains up to date knowledge of system modules, informatics, technology and software as it relates to improving related system modules and workflow in a healthcare setting.
•Provides specialized services to include design, training, development and documentation of knowledge articles and training materials. Maintains up to date documentation.
•Possesses in depth knowledge of industry and clinical systems. Considers enterprise wide solutions and impact. Researches and trains on new technologies as requested.
•Provides input on project planning, process improvements and technical solutions.
•Provides guidance to colleagues and users.
•Performs other related duties as required.

Qualifications include:
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a relevant major. Experience may substitute for education on a year-to-year basis.
• 5-6 years direct clinical or relevant business operations, clinical information systems or related experience is required.
• Cerner EHR analyst with either FirstNet and/or CareNet/ Clinical Documentation preferred.
• Lean Six Sigma green belt preferred
• In depth knowledge and experience of clinical information systems and Electronic Health Records preferred
• Experience in related area of Cerner solutions preferred.
• Strong verbal and written skills in English, including communication skills that promote interpersonal relations and customer service
• Ability to demonstrate professionalism in all interactions and activities.

Full Time, Day Shift, Monday - Friday

Pay Range:

$83,112.12 - $124,675.20

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount or if the position is Per Diem (offering a fixed rate), salary discussions will occur during the screening process.
