Overview The Athletic Trainer (AT) will function under the direction of a Physician as a vital part of a thriving Physical Medicine & Rehab team. The AT will perform as a Physician Extender. In the Physician Extender role, the AT will assist patient flow in the clinic by facilitating; documenting and communicating patient care related activities both within and related services, along with casting and splinting as prescribed by the physician. Qualifications Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training, or Bachelor's in a related field (Kinesiology, Biomechanics, Sports Medicine, Exercise Science/Physiology, or health related profession) with internship route certification in Athletic Training Master's in same or related field or 2 years' experience in an traditional on-field AT setting preferred BOC certification and Florida State licensure as an athletic trainer. Excellent communication skills are required along with strong computer literacy. Motor Vehicle Operator Designation: Not provided. Licensure/Certification/Registration: Licensed Athletic Trainer in the State of Florida.
