Responsibilities Assists with direct patient care procedures and related tasks. Assists in obtaining patient histories, takes vital signs, prepares charts and assists with medical examinations. Assists doctors in examining and treating patients. Performs routine procedures under established protocols (to include but not limited to phlebotomy, EKG’s, dressing changes, wound cultures, IM injections). Maintains and stocks medicines and medical supplies as necessary. Practices safety, environmental and infection control methods.
