ResponsibilitiesThis Position will work 6:00 am to 2:30 pm and work weekends as needed.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) to oversee and manage dietary operations at St. Joseph Medical Center. The ideal candidate will ensure the delivery of high-quality nutrition services and will be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing dietary functions to meet the needs of our clients or residents.
Key Responsibilities:
Menu Planning: Develop and implement nutritious and appealing menu plans in accordance with medical guidelines, client preferences, and budgetary constraints.Compliance: Ensure the facility meets all state and federal regulations related to food safety and sanitation standards.Staff Management: Recruit, train, and supervise dietary staff, ensuring high performance and adherence to policies and procedures.Budgeting: Manage inventory, control food costs, and oversee food purchasing to stay within budgetary guidelines.Documentation: Maintain accurate records of dietary services, including nutritional assessments and care plans.Communication: Collaborate with healthcare professionals to adjust dietary plans based on individual client needs and feedback.Quality Assurance: Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure the highest quality of food service is maintained.Customer Service: Address and resolve any dietary-related issues or concerns from residents, patients, or their families#LI-AM5
QualificationsEducation and Work Experience
High School Diploma or Equivalent.Food Safety Certification from an accredited organization and maintain current.Two (2) years experience in Healthcare food service operations.Ability to use PC.Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) or Dietetic Technician Registered (DTR).Certificate in Culinary Arts from an accredited Culinary Institute preferred.County Specific requirement.
