In this role, the Certified Electro Mechanical Tech (CEMT) will use his/her in-depth knowledge and field experience to perform a wide variety of technical tasks in support of processes, engineering, quality control, calibration, manufacturing/production environment, and field operations. The duties of the CEMT include assembly, disassembly, re-assembly, repair and/or inspection of electronic, electrical, and mechanical systems, chassis and printed circuit boards. The individual will assist in testing, troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining and installing a wide variety of electronic, electromechanical and mechanical equipment. The selected candidate may be required to coat surface of parts, assemblies and finished products with protective materials.
This position is located in Miseau, Germany.
Candidate must currently hold and maintain fully qualified SOFA status in Germany
Required Skills:
2 years of related experience
Experience in operation of machine tools such as drill presses, and/or grinders
Experience in electronic and/or mechanical tasks
Experience reading schematic drawings and modification manuscripts
The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance prior to the start date. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Desired Skills
One (1) year experience in electronic and/or mechanical tasks
Basic understanding of maintenance activities
One (1) year of demonstrated experience/knowledge of static sensitive handling techniques
Experience working on Patriot Major End Items or other Air Defense weapon systems
Experience with painting
Soldering/welding certification
Experience with wire wrapping
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by
local laws/regulations.
