Job Title: Occupational TherapistJob Description The Occupational Therapist is responsible for evaluating, planning, directing, and administering occupational therapy modalities of treatment as prescribed by a licensed physician. Responsibilities + Administer occupational therapy to patients of all ages. + Coordinate, delegate, and supervise tasks assigned to supportive staff. + Demonstrate effective resource utilization. + Communicate effectively to assist in resolving problems. + Participate in performance improvement and program growth. + Engage in infection control, departmental equipment training, and organizational safety and fire safety programs. Essential Skills + Occupational Therapy Florida State License + 1-2 years of experience as a Hand Therapist + BLS Certification Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy + CNOR, CSSM certifications + Experience in Case Management or as a Manager, Supervisor, or Team Lead Work Environment The position operates within an acute care facility located in west Miami-Dade County, boasting 417 beds. Services include trauma, burn, surgical, women's and children's services, behavioral health, and diagnostic services.
