Schedule: Night Shift 6:00 pm - 6:30 am on a 2,2,3 schedule

Work Location: 200 NW Victoria Dr. Lees Summit MO 64086

Salary, based on experience and other qualifications: $40.00-$42.00 ( Per Hour) with additional bonus potential (*if position is bonus eligible)

Electro-mechanical Description of Duties

Read blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to determine the method and sequence of assembly of a machine or a piece of equipmentVerify dimensions of parts, using precision measuring instrumentsOperate metalworking machines to make housings, fittings, and fixturesInspect parts for surface defectsRepair and calibrate hydraulic and pneumatic assembliesUse instruments to test the performance of electromechanical assembliesUse soldering equipment and handtools to install electronic parts and hardwareOperate, test, or maintain robotic equipmentAnalyze and record test resultsTroubleshoot and repair plant equipment and facilitiesPerforms general and preventative maintenance to assure minimal downtimeDetermine root cause and formulate corrective actions for all equipment failures that consist of either PM development, Operator/Technician training, or engineering out the failureMaintains proper records and filesPromotes and exhibits strong personal and food safety practices.  No shortcutsEnsures timely and proper completion of work ordersMaintenance of pneumatics, hydraulics, AC frequency drives, instrumentationWelding and fabrication abilities (arc, MIG, TIG, oxyacetylene, etc.)  Work with industrial electricity (master controls) to troubleshoot and repair electrical components and machinery including all three phase 480, 220, and other plant systemsStrong background in rebuilding gears, motors, conveyors, reducers, bearings and other mechanical componentsPLC experience (programming and troubleshooting)Able to read and comprehend standard operating procedures, equipment manuals, schematics, etc.Works as a self-starter and is required to find work when none has been givenChecking out reordering parts.Hold yourself to a higher standard (replacing wire nuts with Butt splices or changing cables that have been spliced at p.m.’s or available time).
