Certified Medical Assistant | Polson Primary Care

Job Description Summary:

Under clinical supervision, assists in the delivery of patient care and treatment according to policies and procedures and Logan Health (LH) MAU/UAP (Unlicensed Assistive Personnel) scope of practice. Provides administrative support and works collaboratively with Physicians, Advanced Practice Clinicians, RNs, LPNs and other department staff to meet the physical, psychosocial, education and spiritual needs of the patient and family.

Logan Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our team! Candidates can be either registered or certified, and we are willing to assist experienced candidates in obtaining certification.

This position is based in Polson, Montana, a beautiful community nestled along the shores of Flathead Lake. What You’ll Do:

Prepare patients for exams and treatments, take vital signs, and update medical records.Assist providers with procedures, minor treatments, and patient care.Perform basic clinical tasks like dressing wounds, removing sutures, and collecting lab specimens.Help with scheduling, patient inquiries, and administrative support.Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

What We’re Looking For:

Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program OR equivalent training and experience.Certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) within 12 months of hire.Previous experience in a medical office preferred.Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.Familiarity with HIPAA, patient rights, and infection control protocols.

Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week.  Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
