Join Our Team as a Medical Assistant!

Location: Virginia Beach

Shift: 7:45 AM - 5:00 PM (with a 30-minute lunch break)

About the Role: Are you a compassionate and detail-oriented Medical Assistant looking to make a difference? We’re excited to welcome a new team member who will play a crucial role in our patient care. You’ll be responsible for patient intake, documenting medical history and vital signs, performing phlebotomy, and conducting ancillary clinical kit testing and specimen collection.

Your day-to-day tasks will also include maintaining temperature logs, ensuring quality assurance processes, and adhering to OSHA policies. You’ll perform EKGs, complete pharmaceutical prior authorizations, and manage phone triage for patient medication refills. Additionally, you’ll conduct Medicare Annual Wellness Visits, set up, clean, and stock exam rooms, and input patient lab/radiology orders electronically. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Work Environment: This is a fully on-site position at our Virginia Beach location. You’ll be working in a dynamic environment with a patient volume of 70-85 patients per day across three providers. Our shift runs from 7:45 AM to 5:00 PM, with a 30-minute lunch break.
