Certified Medical Assistant

Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join our clients West Nashville team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and possess the ability to perform a variety of clinical and administrative duties. This role is integral to ensuring smooth and efficient operation of our clients medical practice while providing exceptional service to their patients.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide support in routine office procedures and collaborate with the clinical care team.Accurately take and record vital signs in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).Recognize issues and seek appropriate guidance as needed.Develop and uphold standards for clinical quality assurance.Maintain patient records, ensuring confidentiality at all times.Conduct pre-visit planning by reviewing and updating patient charts with recent medication changes and test results.Review and report lab results to the physician for further guidance.Prepare patients for exams and treatments by escorting them from the waiting area to the exam room, obtaining urinalysis, and taking vital signs.Document all information in the EMR.Conduct and document monthly chronic care management encounters for enrolled patients.Prepare, clean, and maintain exam and treatment rooms.Perform phlebotomy; process and prepare labs for pickup; and provide other patient care services as directed by physicians and practice protocols.Prepare and maintain clinical supplies and equipment.Execute and document orders from physicians or physician extenders under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.Assist with scheduling tests and treatments as needed.Perform triage for patient calls for urgent appointments or interventions under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse and Physician.Provide patient health counseling, education, and instruction.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00
