Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Assistant with a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) license to join our fast-paced medical office. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience and be capable of providing top-notch assistance to physicians, including scheduling, prior authorizations, obtaining pre-certifications for MRIs and CTs, communicating test results, phlebotomy, and other various tasks. This role also requires the ability to drive to satellite clinics and take manual blood pressure measurements.
ResponsibilitiesAssist physicians with various tasks including scheduling, prior authorizations, obtaining pre-certifications for MRIs and CTs, and communicating test results.Perform phlebotomy and other clinical tasks as needed.Drive to satellite clinics as required.Take manual blood pressure measurements.Float to satellite locations once trained, with paid mileage.Perform front desk and back office duties including patient instructions and writing orders.Essential SkillsDetail-oriented with the ability to work under deadlines.Strong communication skills.Excellent time management and organizational skills.Experience in a fast-paced office environment.Ability to prioritize patient care.CCMA license.Experience with electronic health records and appointment scheduling.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with front and back office tasks.Ability to perform heavy clinical work.Work Environment
This is a privately held clinic located within a larger health system, providing access to onsite amenities and a full range of benefits. The main location is in Knoxville, with the possibility of floating to satellite locations once trained. Schedule accommodations will be provided as needed.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
