Position: Certified Medical Assistant
Location: Ancillary Robins AFB
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:Prepare examination rooms prior to patient’s arrivalAssist with patient check-ins, admissions, discharges, transfers, and appointment schedulingCheck patient’s vital signs, including temperature, respiration, pulse, weight, blood pressure, and pulse oximeter readingObtain and document patient’s medical history, drug history, chief complaints, allergies, and vital signsPerform documentation and filingAdminister screening tools/formsEnter patient demographic data, diagnosis, and departure time into the computerPerform diagnostic procedures when orderedMaintain examination room stock levels and perform routine maintenanceComplete lab and x-ray requisitions according to clinic policiesAnswer telephones and emailsReport changes in patient condition to medical staffAdminister medications, including injections, under supervisionPerform basic wound care and sterilize soiled equipmentOther duties as assignedKey Qualifications:Education: Certificate of completion from a certified nursing assistant program or a medical assistant training program accredited by CAAHEP or ABHES.Certification: Current certification by the American Association of Medical Assistants or registration by the American Medical Technologists.Experience: At least one year of experience as a Medical Assistant post-graduation.Basic Life Support Certification: Required.What We Offer:Consistent Hours: Enjoy a stable Monday to Friday workweek with no weekend shifts.Supportive Environment: Be part of a dedicated team in a well-equipped medical setting.Professional Growth: Opportunities for continued education and career advancement.
