Merakey is expanding, and we are seeking a dedicated Certified Medical Assistant to be part of our newly launched primary care practice. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a new patient-centered healthcare setting while working alongside a dynamic and supportive team.

Key Responsibilities: Ensure efficient patient flow by assisting with check-in, taking vitals, and preparing exam rooms. Perform point-of-care tests, administer vaccinations (as permitted by state law), and assist with lab work. Respond to patient inquiries, including providing test results and coordinating medical records. Maintain accurate medical records and assist with referrals, prior authorizations, and durable medical equipment orders. Provide patient education on medication adherence, smoking cessation, and overall health management. Maintain infection control standards and participate in quality improvement initiatives. Engage in community outreach events as needed, including occasional weekends.
