Key Responsibilities: Ensure efficient patient flow by assisting with check-in, taking vitals, and preparing exam rooms. Perform point-of-care tests, administer vaccinations (as permitted by state law), and assist with lab work. Respond to patient inquiries, including providing test results and coordinating medical records. Maintain accurate medical records and assist with referrals, prior authorizations, and durable medical equipment orders. Provide patient education on medication adherence, smoking cessation, and overall health management. Maintain infection control standards and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
