Job Overview:
The Center for Breast Health & Disease Management is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to work with the practice physicians, manager, and support staff to ensure patient satisfaction and efficient operations. The Certified Medical Assistant prepares for patient visits, triage practice calls, schedules patient appointments, and performs routine clerical tasks. The Certified Medical Assistant acts as a practice ambassador, contributing to overall patient experience, safety, and privacy.

High School Diploma or GED At least 6 months of relevant experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experiencePreferred:
Previous medical receptionist experience or background in general officeKnowledge of medical terminology and electronic medical record (EMR) systemsCertifications and Licenses Required:
BLS Certification approved by the American Heart Association Medical Assistant Certification: NHA, NCCT, AMT, AAMA, NCMA, AMCA, AECA, or NAHPScheduling Requirements:
Shift working, 8:30am - 5:00pm Monday - FridayFull-TimeEssential Functions:
