We are looking for experienced _Certified_ _Medical Coders_ to join our team. In this role, you will be part of a dedicated workforce in a global company that celebrates the skills you bring.
Our _Certified_ _Medical Codings_ are responsible for reviewing patient’s medical records and coding the information for insurers to process medical claims. In addition, team members are responsible for confirming treatments, identifying missing information, and submitting documents for insurance reimbursement.
**RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Receive and review patients charts and documents, verifying accuracy, clarify and or follow-up with staff members and physicians as needed
+ Ensure codes are assigned correctly and sequenced appropriately, as per regulations set forth by State and Federal Government as well as Insurance Policies
+ Complying with Medical Coding guidelines, policies and procedures
+ Analyze and identify medical procedures, diagnoses, or events that may have led to negligence in reported medical malpractice reports
**QUALIFICATIONS:**
+ Must be at a minimum Certified Professional Medical Coder with either AAPC or AHIMA
+ 1+ year(s) of prior experience in Medical Coding Role, preferably in Risk Adjustment (HCC)
+ Coding Knowledge in ICD-10-CM, HCPCS, CPT, Category II, and/or E/M Coding
+ Skills: Strong Communication, both written and verbal; Team Player; and able to make decisions based on independent judgment and business directives
+ Experience in EMR (i.e. eCW, EPIC, etc.) MS Office Suite and Google Suite products

+ Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 3 PM
