We are looking for experienced Certified Medical Coders to join our team. In this role, you will be part of a dedicated workforce in a global company that celebrates the skills you bring.
Our Certified Medical Codings are responsible for reviewing patient’s medical records and coding the information for insurers to process medical claims. In addition, team members are responsible for confirming treatments, identifying missing information, and submitting documents for insurance reimbursement.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Receive and review patients charts and documents, verifying accuracy, clarify and or follow-up with staff members and physicians as needed
Ensure codes are assigned correctly and sequenced appropriately, as per regulations set forth by State and Federal Government as well as Insurance Policies
Complying with Medical Coding guidelines, policies and procedures
Analyze and identify medical procedures, diagnoses, or events that may have led to negligence in reported medical malpractice reports
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be at a minimum Certified Professional Medical Coder with either AAPC or AHIMA
1+ year(s) of prior experience in Medical Coding Role, preferably in Risk Adjustment (HCC)
Coding Knowledge in ICD-10-CM, HCPCS, CPT, Category II, and/or E/M Coding
Skills: Strong Communication, both written and verbal; Team Player; and able to make decisions based on independent judgment and business directives
Experience in EMR (i.e. eCW, EPIC, etc.) MS Office Suite and Google Suite products

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 3 PM
