OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for a compassionate and talented CMA to join our nursing staff in our team approach to providing exceptional care to our residents. This is a full-time position from 6pm-6am on our Assisted Living floor.

NOT to assume responsibility of transferring orders.To display an awareness of cleanliness and proper maintenance of all drugs and to maintain a clean working environment. To clean and leave the medication cart fully stocked.To maintain a locked medication room and or cart when unattended.To make rounds with physician when necessary.To direct nursing assistants as appropriate to maintain a safe and highs standard of care.To perform other duties as described in the nursing assistant job description.To assume responsibility in performing all other duties as directed in order to fulfill state and federal regulations and to comply with philosophy, objectives, policies, and procedures of Christian Horizons. Qualifications Must complete a state approved training program in medication administration. Education or training for re-certification will be done according to Federal and State regulations. Current Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certificationCurrent Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (preferred) Must demonstrate good judgement in seeking guidance and supervision from licensed personnel. Must perform duties as assigned according to nursing assistant job description.
