Job Description​

Bishop Spencer is looking for a Certified Medication Assistant who is passionate about providing superior care, enriching the lives of our residents, and working with other like-minded professionals in a team-oriented environment. This is a full-time position in our 20 apartment assisted living unit.

Our CMT's partner with our licensed nursing staff to plan, develop, organize, and carryout resident care plans. Duties include:

Medication administrationAssisting residents with daily living activities in assisted livingProviding resident care and reporting resident information/needs to charge nurseAnswering resident calls and requests for assistanceServing food and beverages to ensure proper resident nutritionAssisting residents in mobility and transport activitiesCollaborating with other health care team members to enhance the provision of resident careSupporting resident safety and satisfaction by performing regular rounds on the nursing unit and effectively communicating with all team members while providing excellent customer service
