***Competitive Pay $20.25 - 22.25/hr***

 

Responsibilities

 

Perform vital signs on residents at beginning of each shift and as directed Assist residents in preparation for health examinations Record and document residents’ medical record Set up and administer medication and immunizations in accordance with physician’s orders and state/federal regulations Display knowledge of side effects, interactions, and nursing implications of common medications Read and interpret residents’ medical records and physician orders Maintain inventory of all medications and report any discrepancies immediatelyCreate a clean, comfortable, and safe environment for residents and ensure that their needs are metAttend and participate in scheduled training, educational, and orientation programs to maintain certification and enhance quality of careMaintain and work within FutureCare’s established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality improvement and safety programs, and environmental and infection control standards Qualifications

 

Must hold a current certification and CNA license in Maryland as well as a Medication Technician/Aide Certification Previous experience as a CMA required Must possess a positive and professional attitude Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment Previous experience working in an Assisted Living environment is a plus Must be familiar with medical terminology and documenting in electronic health records Ability to communicate effectively with other nursing staff and other departments Current CPR Certification Interested in this opportunity?
