Qualifications
Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Proficient in basic life support and patient care
Knowledge of medical terminology and documentation
Familiarity with EMR and EHR systems, including Epic and Cerner
Experience in long-term care, assisted living, or hospital settings
Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy
Ability to work with diverse populations, including those with developmental disabilities and Alzheimer's care
Responsibilities
Provide compassionate patient care, assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
Monitor and record vital signs, ensuring accurate medical documentation in EMR/EHR systems.
Adhere to HIPAA regulations while maintaining patient confidentiality.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to implement care plans and support patients with diverse needs, including those with developmental disabilities or memory care requirements.
