**Location:** Freeman, SD **Worker Type:** Regular **Work Shift:** Night Shift (United States of America) Freeman Regional Health Service is looking for individuals to join our growing, team-oriented organization. **Position Highlights** **Certified Nursing Assistant - Assisted Living** **Location:** Freeman Regional Assisted Living **Worker Type:** PRN **Work Shift:** Evening Shift (3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.) **A Brief Overview** Working as a Certified Nursing Assistant, in an assisted living facility, is a rewarding career as it allows you to directly make a positive impact on the lives of elderly residents by providing them with personalized care, building meaningful relationships, and contributing to their overall well-being, offering a sense of fulfillment through helping others in a supportive community setting. **What you will do:** + Assist residents with daily activities, providing physical and emotional support, which can significantly improve their quality of life. + Develop close relationships with residents and their families, getting to know their individual needs and preferences. + Provide companionship and reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation. + Monitor the health and safety of residents, identifying potential hazards and ensuring quick access to help when needed. + Maintain cleanliness in residents’ living spaces. + Notify nurses or supervisors about changes in residents' conditions. + Maintain accurate records of residents' information. + Understanding and following established policy and procedures related to fire, tornado, evacuation, disaster plan, universal precautions, infection control procedures, hazardous and chemical communication program. + Mentor new employees and assists with their orientation. + Lead, by example, following Freeman Regional Health Services CARE standards. **Required Education,** **License/Certification,** **or Work Experience:** + Must be 16 years or older **Essential Qualifications** The individual must be able to work the hours specified.
