Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential need for a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at the Palo Alto VA Medical Center with opportunities to work at the following locations:

Menlo Park, CAPalo Alto, CALivermore, CA

Qualifications:Active California CNA CertificationCurrent BLS Certification2 Years of Clinical ExperienceU.S. CitizenshipHigh School DiplomaKey Responsibilities:

Direct Patient Care (90% of the time):

Deliver comprehensive nursing assistant services comparable to those in top-tier civilian medical facilities.Collaborate effectively with patients, families, and physicians to ensure high-quality care.Provide care at all stages, adhering to VA and Joint Commission standards.Operate and maintain medical equipment necessary for care delivery.Educate patients and their families on health and wellness topics.

Administrative Duties (10% of the time):

Participate in quality improvement activities and meetings.Complete quality assurance and performance improvement documentation.Maintain adherence to infection control standards and ensure patient safety.Accurately document care in the electronic medical record system.Work Schedule:Full-Time | 40 hours per weekFlexible shifts available between 7:00 AM and 12:00 AMSample shifts include:7:00 AM - 3:30 PM7:30 AM - 4:00 PM8:00 AM - 4:30 PM10:30 AM - 7:00 PM11:30 AM - 8:00 PM12:30 PM - 9:00 PM3:30 PM - 12:00 AMEnjoy 11 federal holidays off with no on-call responsibilities.About Spectrum Healthcare Resources
