ESS Requirements:
Current NYS License/CertificateClinical Staff must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience to be eligible for employment.Part Time (22.5 Hours) - Every other weekend or 4 weekend shifts within a four-week period and 2 Holidays per year.Full Time (37.5 Hours) - Every other weekend or 4 weekend shifts within a four-week period and 3 Holidays per year. Per Diem - At least 4 Shifts per month, which includes 1 weekend Shift, unless otherwise determined by the program manager: 1 Holiday per year

ResponsibilitiesCertified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Duties:
Direct and monitor the personal care duties carried out by Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) of an assigned team.Report to nurse on duty unusual symptoms, daily needs and progress of residents.Notify nurse on duty of changes in residents’ conditions or needsFollow the Profile of Care for each resident and monitor the performance of the Nursing Assistants (CNA) in carrying out the appropriate aspects of the care plan.Responsible for responding immediately to residents’ requests.Assist residents with the following Activities of Daily Living (ADL), according to their plan of care and individual needs.Required to float to at-least 2 of our locations of your choiceQualifications
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Qualifications:
Sixteen (16) years of age required; high school diploma or equivalent preferredRegistration in the State Nurse Aide Registry (CNA) is required with 2 years of experience working with the certification. Active on the State Nursing Aide Registry with no findings or convictions of resident abuse, mistreatment or misappropriation of property.Training and CNA work experience in a geriatric setting preferred.Ability to supervise and work well with other personnelAbility to communicate well verbally and in writingCaring and respectful attitude towards residentsPhysical stamina for constant activity required.Ability to perform tasks to established standards of excellence required.This position requires regular interaction with residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors. In order to ensure a safe work environment for residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors of the Company, and to permit unfettered communication between the employee and those residents, coworkers, visitors, and supervisors, this position requires that the employee be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language at an intermediate or more advanced level.
