New Pay Rates: $23.00 - $30.97, plus night shift differential

Responsibilities

Position Summary

Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, assists patients in the rehabilitation process through provision of appropriate nursing care as well as carryover of rehabilitation techniques.

 

Duties

Obtains vital signs as directedAnswers call lights promptly and report problems to a primary nurse/designeeAssists with monitoring diets and nutritional supplements, as well as providing appropriate cues to patients for feeding or swallowing once directed by speech or occupational therapistAssists nurse with patient admissions, transfers and discharges Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferredPrevious hospital experience preferredCertified Nursing Assistant CertificateBLS through the American Heart Association Additional Data
