The Phoenix Job Corps Center provides students with the opportunity to earn their High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED), and hands-on training in the following areas: Certified Nurse Assistant, Clinical Medical Assistant, Medical Administration Assistant, Patient Care Technician, Plumbing, Painting, Security and Protective Services, HVAC, Landscaping, Electrical, and Building Construction Technology.

As a Certified Nursing Assistant CTT Instructor, you will have a crucial responsibility of training and motivating aspiring healthcare professionals. Your extensive knowledge and dedication towards patient care will help students learn the essential skills required to become compassionate and proficient Certified Nursing Assistants.

Responsibilities:

Inspire and Educate: Foster a positive and engaging learning environment that ignites students' passion for healthcare. Utilize innovative teaching methods to convey the principles of nursing care, infection control, patient safety, and other essential CNA skills.

Hands-On Training: Conduct hands-on practical sessions, allowing students to apply theoretical knowledge in simulated healthcare settings. Provide constructive feedback and support as students develop their clinical skills and bedside manner.

Curriculum Development: Collaborate with the education team to develop and enhance the curriculum, ensuring it aligns with industry standards and prepares students for real-world challenges. Integrate the latest advancements in nursing and healthcare into the instructional materials.

Mentorship: Act as a mentor and role model for students, demonstrating the highest standards of professionalism, empathy, and ethical conduct. Guide them in developing strong interpersonal skills, effective communication, and cultural competence.

Individualized Support: Recognize and address the diverse needs of students, offering additional support and resources as required. Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment that encourages personal and professional growth.

Collaboration: Work closely with fellow instructors, healthcare professionals, and industry experts to stay abreast of industry trends and ensure the program's continued success. Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance your own skills and knowledge.
