These are non-licensed workers who may perform basic nursing services for patients as delegated by and under the direct supervision of the professional nurseThe activities contributing to the delivery of nursing care is limited to providing personal hygiene, comfort, safety, and protectionNon-nursing support functions are also included in role expectationsThe CNA must demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of patients served in his/her departmentThe individual must acquire and/or demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life spanHe/she must be able to provide care with consideration of developmental statusScion Healthconsiders a consistently positive, cooperative, self-motivated, courteous, and professional attitude to be an essential function of every position. Minimum Requirements\:
Current Idaho CNA certification listed on the Idaho State Nurse Aide RegistryBLS on first day or to be assigned by the Learning Center
