BayCare is currently in search of our newest Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant who is passionate about providing outstanding customer service to our community. 

The occupational therapist is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating occupational therapy interventions for residents within the skilled nursing facility. They collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote functional independence, improve mobility, enhance cognitive abilities, and facilitate participation in daily activities.

Status: Full Time, Exempt: No

Shift Hours: 8am - 4:30pm

Weekend Work: Occasional

Responsibilities - Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant:

Assists the Occupational Therapist with the administration of interventions utilized in occupational therapy and rehabilitation May progress patients/residents in the treatment plan as developed by the Occupational Therapist May provide direct clinical supervision for Rehabilitation Technicians, Massage Therapists, Athletic Trainers and Fitness Specialists
