**Rehabilitation Occupational Therapy Assistant**
**Part Time, up to 30 hrs per week**

NeuroRestorative is currently seeking a part-time, Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to provide residential, rehabilitation, and community-based services for individuals in our Adult Programs. Our occupational therapy assistants provide both individual and group therapy sessions, supervise interns, and work collaboratively with a team of highly trained physical therapists, speech language pathologists, behavior analysts, rehabilitation counselors, medical personnel, and residential staff. Core competencies include proficient communication skills, effective collaboration and problem-solving skills, commitment to continuous professional improvement, and engaging in essential job functions.
**_Essential Job Functions_**
+ Administers occupational therapy treatment to program participants according to a rehabilitation plan developed by an Occupational Therapist (OT)
+ Collaborates with the rehabilitation team on strategies and techniques to support program participants’ programming
+ Confers with staff members and other health care members to exchange, discuss, and evaluate program participant information for modifying and coordinating current treatment program; participate in treatment planning with trans-disciplinary team as requested
+ Assists OT with screenings, assessments and occupational therapy services
+ Follows and implements documented rehab plans and/or protocols
+ Documents participant progress toward meeting established objectives and outcomes
+ Adapts or modifies equipment and/or the environment as determined by participant needs and abilities within a residential setting
+ Adheres to ethics of confidentiality
+ Maintains daily documentation and billing logs for program participants
+ Follows daily scheduling patterns, communicates with staff, and adjusts schedules as needed for flexibility
**_Qualifications:_**
+ Graduate of an accredited OTA program
+ Licensed through the IL Department of Financial and Professional Regulation
+ Experience in neuro-rehabilitation preferred.
+ Self-motivated and detail-oriented with ability to multi-task.
+ Reliable, responsible, and caring nature.
