**Responsibilities** The Certified Ophthalmic Technician is responsible for providing direct patient care to patients seen in the Optometry or Ophthalmology departments. Preferred: At least 5 years’ experience in an ophthalmology. **License(s)** Required: Certified Ophthalmic Assistant Preferred: N/A **Special Skills** Required: Proficiency with computers. Able to navigate between multiple applications: able to accurately enter data. Able to type 30 words per minute. Able to perform HVG, OCTs, NCT, A-scans, refracting and other diagnostic testing. EPIC, Slit Lamp exam, sensory motor exam, confrontational fields and fundus photography.
