The Patient Care Technician assists patients with activities of daily living and selective procedures delegated and communicated by the licensed nurse.  These activities focus on maintaining a safe, hazard free, clean environment which facilitates patient focused care.

Required qualifications:

Coursework/Training: Combined equivalent experience and certification needed for function and level or equivalent education/experience or Current graduate of state approved PCT program (CPCT). National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire. National Certified Patient Care Technician/Assistant - National Healthcareer Association upon hire.

Preferred qualifications:

H.S. Diploma or GED 6 months of PCT experience in an acute care setting. 6 months of Phlebotomy experience.
