Description:We are seeking a certified pharmacy technician to lead our technician team. This role requires expertise in hospital medication preparation and distribution, both sterile and non-sterile compounding, and ensuring regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will excel in effectively fostering and enhancing colleague engagement by creating an inclusive and motivating work environment, encouraging open communication, and actively supporting team collaboration and development. Key responsibilities include overseeing scheduling, recruitment, training, and retention.

Position Purpose:

Lead provides support for the interview process, evaluation process, establishing schedules, and adjusting/communicating assignments.


Job Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

Education: High School or GED requiredLicensure / Certification: Approved Pharmacy Technician Certification. Active registration as a Certified Tech with the Ohio State Board of PharmacyExperience: 2 year minimum experience, 3-5 years of experience in hospital pharmacy preferred.Effective Communication SkillsThorough knowledge of principles and practices of supervision and onboardingThorough experience in all pharmacy operational areas; proficiency with internet based applicationsExcel preferredAbility to prioritize workload, manage deadlines, organize and review work of otherDemonstrates attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness in an effort to continually improve quality and safety.
