Certified Pharmacy Technician
The Pharmacy Technician Acute Care assists to receive, dispense, and deliver non-controlled and controlled medications to patients needing treatment. Working under close supervision, this role supports the registered pharmacist in delivering high-quality, safe patient care.

Assists with receiving and stocking pharmaceuticals and supplies in order to ensure availability for the registered pharmacist.
Delivers pharmaceuticals and supplies to departments outside of the pharmacy.
Operates technology to assist with receiving, stocking, preparing, and labeling non-controlled medications.
Delivers high-quality medical care to patients by making non-controlled and controlled medications available for use.
Completes medication regulatory and compliance activities.
Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:Required: High School Diploma or equivalent
EXPERIENCE:Required: 1 year work experience (pharmacy experience preferred but not required)
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:Required: Pharmacy Technician certification through PTCB or NHA prior to hire. Registered with the NC Board of Pharmacy within 30 days of hire.
