Position Summary:
This position is in a fast paced, dynamic, orthopedic same day surgery center that requires a team centered individual that is a self-starter, flexible, self-sufficient, adaptable, efficient and possesses good communication skills. Someone that will contribute to the larger good of the institution and the performance of the entire team in providing and continually developing the best possible care processes for our orthopedic patients.
Sign-on Bonus: $30,000.00 for two-year commitment.
Relocation funds available to applicants outside of the Twin Cities 13 county metro area.
Preferred experience: In-patient hospital CRNA (3+ yrs), Same Day Surgery, delivering TIVA anesthetics, proficient IV skills, and excellent staff and patient/family communication skills.
Preferred experience: minimum of 1-2 years of pediatric anesthesia experience (Ages 5 and up)

Working location TRIA: Bloomington and Woodbury, Minnesota; as and where needed.
State licensure as an APRN currently licensed in the state of Minnesota. Certified in BLS, ACLS, and PALS upon application or completed before starting. Computer keyboarding and electronic documentation skills preferred (EPIC).
The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist has the responsibility to administer safe analgesia and anesthesia under the supervision of an anesthesiologist or physician. The CRNA will provide resuscitation services throughout the hospital. The CRNA will demonstrate an awareness of the objectives of PNHS and the department and will participate in attaining those goals.
Required Qualifications:
Graduate from a School of Nursing and from a School of Anesthesia. BLS provider status in accordance with American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines. Registered Nurse currently licensed in the State of Minnesota. Certified by the Council on Certification or Board eligible. Currently recertified by the Council on Recertification of the AANA. This position requires credentialing, following the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) guidelines. Effective communication skills. Demonstrates knowledge of age-related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and assure safety of patients. Proven proficiency in the operation of the following: defibrillator, external pacing, patient monitors (transport monitors, automatic blood pressure monitors, pulse, temperature, pulse oximetry, invasive monitoring, BBGT, ACT), gas analyzer, infusion pumps/injection devices, gas machine, blood drawing, telephone, and computers. Participates in one’s professional organization (desirable).Preferred Qualifications:
Baccalaureate degree in nursing and master’s degree in anesthesia or related-field preferred.Benefits:
