Schedule: Rotating A/B Schedule: (3) days one week and (4) days the next, 12-hour shift, 7:00am to 7:30pm with overtime weekly.Work Location: 1801 N 36th St, Grand Forks, ND

Salary, based on experience and other qualifications: $21.00 per hour.
Essential Functions
Assist Processing departments in the sanitation of the production areas including the press, dryers, and general area.Assist Processing department in routine press sanitations and changeover exercises.Maintain an environment in the food processing area that complies with FDA guidelines and GMP expectations.Perform facility sanitation duties including, but not limited to: grounds, trash, floors, walls, and restrooms.Follow and perform tasks of our Master Sanitation Plan for entire facility.Assist Sanitation Coordinator and Quality Manager with various projects including but not limited to pest control.Assist in break coverage as needed.Essential Job Requirements
High school diploma or GED equivalent.Must have the ability to lift 1-50 pounds on a regular basis and up to 80 pounds occasionally.A minimum of 2 years of related work experience preferred.Familiarity with GMP, SOP, SSOP, FDA, traceability and OSHA standards are desired.Experience in operating a man lift, pallet jack and forklift a plus.Must be able to work in hot and humid environments on a regular basis and work in cold, outdoor environments seasonally.Prompt and regular attendance required.Must possess effective written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, and time management skills needed.Sanitation position requires the employee to:
Push/Pull 30%Lift 30% up to 50 lbs. on a regular basisClimbing 15%Ascending/Descending 15%Bend 10%Work Environment
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The noise level in the work environment is loud. Have the ability to perform all above tasks in an environment of 90 degrees F or greater up to 80% of the shift or greater than 100 degrees F for 30 minute intervals. Also have the ability to perform the above tasks in an environment of up to 35% Relative Humidity.
Safety Responsibilities
Be able to work and perform tasks in a confined space as needed. Be able to wear appropriate hearing protection for the whole shift. Be able to perform lockout/tagout procedures on equipment once trained. To be able to work safely in and around equipment at all times.
