Pinnacle Peak Animal Hospital in North Scottsdale is adding a part-time or full-time experienced Veterinary Technician to our team. Our hospital is routed in the community and our clients and team members are like family.

The Ideal Candidate

Previous veterinary experience REQUIRED with a good knowledge of veterinary medicine Previous anesthesia, surgical preparation and assistance experience is REQUIRED Previous dentistry experience REQUIRED Passion for learning & caring for animals Team player who is willing to take initiative to jump in and help the team Self starter Ability to remain composed in stressful and emotional situations Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Cornerstone knowledge is a plus (not required) Outstanding client service and exceptional patient care

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

Support DVM, Tech and CSR teams Patient care Triage of patients Collection and analysis of lab samples Diagnostic imaging Management and nursing care of hospitalized pets Administration of enteral and parenteral medications Effective communication with team members and clients An understanding of veterinary medicine including vaccines and preventative protocols Surgery and Dentistry Support Most importantly: loving what you do

Job Type: Part-time (under 30 hours) or Full-time (over 30 hours)

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
