Your Role:
Carry out aircraft inspections related to the AVN trades.
Your Responsibilities:
Carry out aircraft periodic inspection, Conditional Inspection, Supplementary Inspection, Modification and Special Inspection in accordance with the Canadian Forces Technical Orders (CFTO) and established work instructions;Attend training / information sessions as required;Keep Lead Hand informed on technical problems, schedule problems, additional requirement and technician’s welfare;Follow Tool Control rules and regulations;Consult reference documentation such as CFTO’s, work processes and other related documentation;Complete aircraft inspection sheets, forms, aircraft sets, registers and other documentation properly and as required;Utilize safe working practices;Carry out tasks as assigned by the Lead Hand or Team Supervisor;Conform to the administrative and technical regulations of the establishment to wich they are assigned, with regard to the following:Health and safety;Flight safety;Documentation and records;Working Instructions;Process specifications.Your profile:
The AVN Technician shall have qualifications in the following areas:
Airframe and Structure;Landing Gear;Engine/Airframe interface;Environmental Control;Electrical System;Hydraulic System;Fuel System;Flight Control System:The AVN Technician beneficial have qualifications in the following areas:
Fire Extinguishing;Oxygen System;Ejection System;Secondary PowerGeneral Instrumentations;Armament system.Eligibility Criteria:
Must be eligible for registration with the Controlled Goods Program;Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a government of Canada “Reliability” status and/or Level 2 (Secret) securit clearance;- Visit the Government of Canada website for more details.Must be eligible to meet the requirements for U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)Location not accessible via public transportation.
