CFAN Plant Leader
Job Description SummaryCFAN is a 50/50 joint venture with GE and Safran. This role will be a GE employee and is considered the General Manager of the joint venture. The CFAN Plant Leader will be responsible for leading plant manufacturing operations with 500 employees. In addition to plant responsibilities this role also has general business responsibilities for the P&L and will be responsible for communicating and aligning across the GE and Safran Board members.

Essential Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be accountable for planning and directing all aspects of the organization’s manufacturing, supply chain strategies and business, objectives, initiatives and policy. In addition, this site sits within a broader Composites organization and the CFAN Plant Leader will collaborate with other functional (engineering, quality, lean, procurement) and site leaders to deliver on the broader strategy for GE Aerospace and Safran.
 

Drive operations team towards execution of Business Goals using Lean Manufacturing methodologyMonitor & improve cost productivity while ensuring all customer commitments are met in a timely, quality & compliant mannerEstablish and direct plant policies and proceduresMeet plant production and quality goalsHave a strong focus on employee relationsFoster well-trained and motivated staffEstablish all production schedules and meet customer’s delivery and quality expectationsSelect, train and develop plant supervisory and administrative staffProvide leadership for executing New Product Introductions (NPIs)Ensure sufficient capacity exists to achieve all customer commitmentsBe responsible for driving continuous improvements in factory yieldDrive Product Quality and Lean to ensure that internal business metrics are metDevelop & create training plans to maximize workforce capabilityContinually improve metricsConduct employee performance reviewsSchedule and conduct plant meetings; foster employee engagement and ensure that business and operational goals are effectively communicated to employeesPromote a working environment that encourages employee involvement to achieve excellence in productivity, customer service, quality, inventory and Environmental Health & Safety (EHS)
 

Qualifications/Requirements :
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college
Minimum 8 years of work experience with proven leadership in manufacturing or supply chain role
