Your role and responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Procure-to-Pay (P2P) & Treasury Solution Lead to lead and mentor a team of Solution Architects responsible for the configuration, optimization, and support of P2P and Treasury processes within the Central Finance (CFIN) system. In this role, you will oversee the P2P & Treasury team’s day-to-day activities, guide them in resolving complex system issues, and drive continuous improvement of these processes across the organization. You will also be responsible for collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure that P2P and Treasury systems and processes are aligned with business objectives, scalable, and compliant with internal standards. This position requires close coordination with internal teams, including Finance, IS Architecture, and external vendors, to maintain and evolve the P2P & Treasury architecture, ensuring it meets business needs while adhering to ABB's standards.The work model for the role is: #LI-OnsiteThis role is contributing to the Finance Services business Finance Process Data Systems division in Bangalore, India.You will be mainly accountable for:-\tTeam Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of P2P & Treasury Solution Architects, providing guidance on best practices, process optimization, and system configuration. Foster a collaborative, high-performance team culture. P2P & Treasury Process Ownership: Oversee the configuration, implementation, and ongoing support of P2P and Treasury processes within the CFIN system, ensuring they are optimized and aligned with business goals. Key areas include procurement, invoicing, payments, cash management, and liquidity forecasting.-\tStakeholder Collaboration: Partner with business process owners, IS architects, technical teams, and other key stakeholders to understand business requirements, define functional specifications, and ensure P2P and Treasury processes integrate seamlessly with other enterprise systems. Project Management: Lead P2P & Treasury initiatives, including system upgrades, enhancements, and new implementations. Manage timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure successful project outcomes.-\tSystem Optimization & Automation: Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for automation, efficiency gains, and system enhancements. Ensure that new solutions meet both business and technical requirements. Cross-Functional Coordination: Serve as the primary point of contact between the P2P & Treasury team and other business processes (e.g., O2C, R2R, P2D, Data, TAX) to ensure smooth and efficient processes across the organization.-\tQuality Assurance & Compliance: Ensure all P2P and Treasury configurations, processes, and solutions comply with internal standards, regulations, and best practices. Oversee testing, documentation, and change management activities. Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution: Lead the resolution of complex P2P & Treasury-related system issues, escalating critical problems to the appropriate teams for resolution. Ensure prompt and effective solutions to minimize operational disruptions.-\tPerformance Metrics & Reporting: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the efficiency and effectiveness of P2P and Treasury processes. Provide regular status reports and performance analysis to senior management. Continuous Learning & Knowledge Sharing: Promote continuous learning and development within the P2P & Treasury team. Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in process management.

Qualifications for the role

-\tEducation: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant certifications in P2P, MM, Treasury, SAP S/4HANA, SAP CFIN, or IT Architecture are preferred. 7+ years of experience in P2P and Treasury process management, with a strong background in system configuration and implementation within SAP or similar ERP environments (SAP S/4HANA, SAP CFIN).-\tProven experience in a leadership or managerial role within P2P or Treasury teams, with demonstrated success in leading and motivating teams. Deep understanding of P2P processes (procurement, invoicing, payments) and Treasury functions (cash management, liquidity forecasting, bank reconciliations) and their integration with broader financial systems.-\tStrong experience with Central Finance (CFIN), SAP modules, and cross-functional system integration. Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into clear functional and technical specifications. Proven problem-solving skills with a focus on process optimization and automation.-\tExpertise in Global Bank Payment set up, Expertise in business understanding in areas of PINO - Payment in name of & POBO - Payment on behalf of, Expertise in vendor correspondence & futuristic approach for various bank payment rejection & global solution approach to handle such situations -\tExperience in managing down payment solutions at global level, Experience in GCM-Global Cash management & various Bank connections globally, Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of motivating and guiding cross-functional teams.-\tExcellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels. Proven project management capabilities, including managing multiple priorities, deliverables, and deadlines.-\tA strong focus on continuous improvement and automation, with a passion for driving innovation within enterprise systems. Experience managing relationships with external vendors and third-party service providers to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
