Description Chief Financial Officer (CFO) - Restaurant Industry Experience Required Key Responsibilities: Financial Planning & Analysis (FP& A): + Develop and implement comprehensive financial models for revenue forecasting and expense management. + Provide data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making and identify growth opportunities. GAAP Accounting: + Oversee financial reporting processes to ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). + Manage internal and external audits to maintain transparency and accuracy. Acquisitions and Mergers: + Lead financial due diligence and valuation for acquisitions and mergers. + Integrate acquired entities into the company's financial operations and reporting systems. Budgeting and Forecasting: + Create and manage detailed budgets aligned with organizational goals. + Monitor variances and recommend corrective actions to maintain profitability. SOX Compliance: + Ensure adherence to Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) regulations by implementing and monitoring internal controls. + Regularly evaluate financial processes to mitigate risks and maintain compliance. Risk Analysis and Management: + Identify and mitigate financial and operational risks through comprehensive analysis. + Implement robust risk management strategies to safeguard company assets. Cost Control: + Design and implement cost-saving initiatives to optimize operational efficiency. + Conduct regular reviews of vendor contracts, supply chain costs, and operational overheads. Financial Operations: + Oversee cash flow management, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and treasury functions. + Work closely with department heads to align financial operations with strategic goals.
