Our practice is looking for an experienced Director in Business Transformation to join our rapidly growing Middle Market Business Consulting team! In this role, you will be responsible for initiating, directing, and implementing a comprehensive strategy to both grow our Business Consulting team and strengthen our client's business and technology objectives while enhancing their ability to achieve results. You will build upon our position as a trusted strategic advisor while actively engaging in developing and taking to market Business Consulting solutions through pre-sales, sales, and delivery cycles. The Director will ensure quality outcomes and customer satisfaction in our projects while providing project leadership, thought leadership, and direction for the client team (and our internal team) and maintaining long-term partnerships with our clients.

How you will contribute:
Provide finance and accounting capabilities for companies evolving from start-up accounting and finance processes to efficient and scalable operations Lead a current state assessment of accounting and finance operations and current state systems from a quantitative and qualitative standpoint Lead client engagement activities in all phases of the project life cycle from start to end Provide support to engagements focused on implementing or transitioning accounting systems (e.g. ERP) for clients that have outgrown their existing process and platform Drive and own strategic initiatives which align with the client's goals and strategies, thereby strengthening our organization's partnerships. Develop and drive, in conjunction with the Business Consulting Leadership Team, the growth strategy particularly focusing on maturing and refining existing and developing new techniques and solutions. Develop and manage positive and effective relationships with our client base to advance our goals while building our position as the consulting partner of choice. Represent Forvis Mazars through proactively engaging both net-new clients and expanding opportunities with existing clients with both internal and external stakeholders as either an independent sales leader or active sales team member. Build and coach our consulting team helping to recruit, on-board, coach, grow and promote technology consultants, senior consultants and managers for future career growth. Engage and maintain positive, productive relationships with client CxO's, board members, committees, community and business leaders, stakeholders, and staff. Maintain in depth solution and industry knowledge while continuously learning to stay up to date with Forvis Mazars' offerings to leverage the solutions to drive the best overall results for our clients. Work with engagement lead and Partner/Managing Director to continually work to identify opportunities to provide value to clients through cross-group referrals Will travel regularly (25% up to 50%)

Minimum Qualifications:
15+ years of finance and accounting transformation, merger integration, ERP modernization, and business transformation. Experience leading and motivating functional and technical consultants to deliver large scale business and technology solutions on time and on budget. 10+ years of work experience in Project Management, Relationship Management and Account Management activities. Credible knowledge across the business domain and sector specific business applications. Experience with technology standards and implementation methodologies. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Management Systems or equivalent Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree and/or Certification (CPA etc) Previous experience in a consulting/public accounting or project management firm
