Description We are seeking an experienced Interim CFO to provide financial leadership and stability during a period of transition. This role will oversee financial planning, budgeting, revenue cycle management, and regulatory compliance, ensuring the organization remains financially strong while optimizing operational efficiencies. The ideal candidate is a strategic leader with deep healthcare finance expertise who can assess financial performance, implement improvements, and support executive decision-making. Key Responsibilities + Provide strategic financial leadership, ensuring alignment with the organization's goals. + Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and cash flow management. + Lead revenue cycle management (billing, collections, reimbursement strategies) to maximize financial performance. + Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement, and payer contract negotiations. + Assess and improve financial processes, internal controls, and operational efficiencies. + Manage relationships with investors, lenders, auditors, and regulatory agencies. + Partner with the executive team to drive cost containment, financial sustainability, and strategic growth initiatives. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business (MBA and/or CPA preferred). 15+ years of financial leadership experience, preferably in healthcare. Expertise in revenue cycle management, healthcare reimbursement, and financial compliance. Strong understanding of hospital, clinic, or healthcare system financial operations. Experience working with EMR/EHR systems, financial software Proven ability to stabilize financial operations, drive process improvements, and lead teams through change.
