CGM Delegated Claims Technician

The Claims Processor CGM role is responsible for supporting CGM TPA & Coverholder Claims Vendor Management activities. This is spread across three key pillars of activity:

Coverholder with Claims Authority Onboarding Activity TPA & Coverholder with Claims Authority Performance Management TPA & Coverholder Claims Audit Management 

The role works collaboratively with CGM Claims Vendor Management, Claims Technical Services & Governance and the CGM Claims Lines of Business to support the robust oversight of third party claims vendors. 

Coverholder Claims Authority Oboarding Activity:

Responsible for collating responses to and approvals of the Coverholder with Claims Authority due diligence question set as part of the onboarding and renewal process for a Coverholder. This is focused on gathering the relevant information to enable effective assessment of the Coverholder ability to service claims, manage risk and meet relevant regulatory requirements, as well as sharing this with relevant stakeholders for review and approval.

TPA & Coverholder with Claims Authority Performance Management

Support the Claims Vendor Management team in their ongoing performance management of each CGM third party. The core focus of this pillar is administrative support of the team in review of performance data, tracking actions raised in relation to performance issues and minute taking for internal performance management forums.

TPA & Coverholder Claims Audit Management

Support the delivery of the claims vendor audit programme, with a particular focus on the administration of the Lloyd’s market coordination tool, Delegated Audit Manager (DAMs). The work will involve the coordination of claims audits, as well as sharing of audit outputs – reports and actions with relevant stakeholders to ensure appropriate oversight and action is taken (where required) with each vendor. 

Key Responsibilities: 

1.      Effective ownership of the collation and completion of the Coverholder Claims due diligence questionnaire, ensuring that it is completed in a timely manner and remains compliant with Chubb and regulatory requirements.

2.      Ownership of the performance reporting pack distribution to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring timely stakeholder completion.   Own action tracking, ensuring all actions are completed and closed effectively and in accordance with all documented timescales.  Support performance oversight through analysis of performance metrics. 

3.      Carry out key Claims administrative duties in relation to the DAMs system, from coordination of audits, through to receipt of audit outputs and tracking of necessary actions that may follow.

4.      Ad-hoc requests as required

Key requiremens and Qualifications: 

Background studies in Law and/or Business Administration is desirable,  Knowledge of insurance industry and claims handling (vendor and carrier perspective). Experience of managing vendors in an insurance environment (in particular vendor onboarding and vendor operational audit activities) desirable. Governance and Compliance experience desirable. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Must be able to excel independently and in team environment.  Effective communications and interpersonal skills to be capable of dealing a diverse group of internal stakeholders, external partners and customers.  Knowledge of, and experience with, software applications, including multiple claim systems (desirable), web based systems, and MS Office Fluent in second European language (Spanish, French, German, Dutch, Italian) Advance level of English is a must.
