CH-47F Maintenance Test Pilot Subject Matter Expert (SME)

GDIT is the Prime contractor for the Flight School Training Support Services (FSTSS) program, which supports the United States Army Aviation Center of Excellence (USAACE). Located in Daleville, Alabama. GDIT owns and operates the facilities that provide flight simulator training.

HOW A CH-47F MAINTENANCE TEST PILOT SME WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

Develops, modifies, applies, and maintains standards for software systems quality operating methods, processes, and procedures.Conducts evaluation of software systems activities including requirements, design, development, documentation, integration, test, verification and validation.Defines appropriate measures to ensure product quality.Develops overall operating criteria to ensure implementation of the software quality program according to project, process and contract requirements and objectives.Ensures that projects and process control documentation are compliant with requirements, objectives and/or contracts.Reviews software systems design, change specifications, and plans against contractual and/or process requirements.Reviews include applicable specifications, materials, tools, techniques, and methodologies.Provides or directs verification and validation of software system requirements, traceability, and testability.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Education: BS or equivalent years of related experience OR MS OR equivalent yrs of experienceRequired Experience: 6+ years of experience in a CH-47FRequired Technical Skills U.S. Army Aviation CH-47F Maintenance Examiner, or U.S. Army Aviation CH-47F Maintenance Test Pilot, CH-47F OFP v9.4.5 qualified pilot with flight experienceSecurity Clearance Level: Must be able to obtain a SECRET clearanceRequired Skills and Abilities:Skilled in personal computer, Microsoft Office software (Including MS Project) and data repository software.Good planning and organizational skills. Good analytical and problem-solving skills.Preferred Skills:Experience in Project Management, Army Material Acquisition programs and/or processes, Department of Defense modeling, simulation and technology requirements is a plus.U.S. Army Instructor Pilot CourseU.S. Army Instrument Evaluator CourseU.S. Army Aviation Mission Survivability Officer/CourseSimulation Systems test, verification, and validation experienceSimulation Instructor/Operator experienceLocation: On Customer Site
