GM Defense is growing and exciting addition to the GM line of products and is looking to staff a Change Implementation Coordinator position for Supply Chain in Concord, NC. As a member of the Supply Chain team, you will be responsible for support in one of the key areas: manufacturing/warehouse operations, supply chain systems and processes, launch execution and scheduling and material management. You will act as a liaison between purchasing, engineering, warehousing/manufacturing, logistics and suppliers to resolve issues and to provide support.
Onsite: This role is categorized as onsite. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to the GM Defense Production Facility on a full-time basis (shift is four (4) 10's, Monday-Thursday)
Role Responsibilities:
Guides of one of the key areas within the Global Supply Chain to ensure business objectives are met or exceeded in all areas including customer, quality, service, responsiveness, people, product, and financial initiatives.
Ability to understand and assess complex supply chain issues and in a cross functional environment to successfully resolve issues minimizing impacts to vehicle production.
Ability to understand and review Engineering Changes, determining Part Readiness.
Supports and participates in prototypes, pilots, and model change program.
Analyze weekly information for required contract extensions and duns# changes; maintain and publish weekly spreadsheets of upcoming changes and contract expiration; interface with purchasing to resolve contract issues; interface with Covisint regarding Com Codes for EDI on New Duns# set-up.
Assess supplier schedules and impact on vehicle assembly production.
Ability to summarize critical issues with resolutions and communicate to leadership.
Support Obsolete Disposal Processes
Deep understanding of Supply Chain functions
Coordinates operational changes with production
Utilizes appropriate inventory controls and follows up
Support EWO/TWO process and CAB.
Implements material/LMS initiatives

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications):
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Global Supply Chain, or Manufacturing Operations preferred or equivalent training/experience
5+ years of experience
Oral and written communication skills
High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others
Planning and organizational abilities
Knowledge of Microsoft Office

Experience with GM systems, MGO, SAP
Mobile Equipment License
