International Corporation, a leading North American truck manufacturer with great products, a strong market position and best-in-class distribution network, has an exciting new opportunity for a Change Management Engineer - Battery Systems to join our Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Team at our Advanced Technology Center in Elmendorf, TX just outside of San Antonio.


The Change Management Engineer - Battery Systems will support the development of Manufacturing assembly processes for high voltage batteries and will be responsible for overseeing and implementing change management processes to ensure smooth transitions and minimal disruption to operations. Travel can be up to 50% at any Navistar plants in US, Mexico, Europe and Asia.

Responsibilities Support product development (R&D) on product concepts.Influence design to ensure manufacturability and DFALead role in resolving battery assembly related concerns.Work cross functionally to support manufacturing initiatives and best practicesManage Internal and External Battery Components and AssembliesDevelop and implement change management strategies and plans specific to high voltage battery manufacturingConduct impact analyses, assess change readiness, and identify key stakeholders within the manufacturing environment.Collaborate with project teams to integrate change management activities into project plans, focusing on battery production processesProvide coaching and training to managers and employees to facilitate change in manufacturing practicesMonitor and report on the effectiveness of change management initiatives within the battery manufacturing sectorAssist with development of process specific equipment.Monitors impacts of upcoming design changes and Performs research, design and development of manufacturing processes including production flow, assembly methods and production equipmentAssist with development of prototype process development, prototype equipment specification, procurement, and installation, and prototype assembly and evaluation as needed.Represents manufacturing on cross-functional and cross brand teams.Identify and manage anticipated resistance to change in manufacturing processesDevelop metrics to measure the success of change initiatives in the battery manufacturing environmentContribute to the development and improvement of quality control processes and procedures through working closely with the quality team and R&D. Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degreeAt least 5 years of experience in product manufacturing

OR

Master’s degreeAt least 3 years of experience in product manufacturing

OR

At least 7 years of experience in product manufacturing Additional Requirements Qualified candidates, excluding current International Motors employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States.
